Welcome to piZap.com. Pizap is a fun free photo editor that lets people easily create wacky images with their digital pictures. Mashface is the bastard child of a 3D software/web development company in Montréal called Xtranormal, Inc. It was an awesome idea that didn’t fit in with what we were trying to do, but it was so awesome we decided to do it anyway, you know, to dilute our focus. But we pulled it off.

Mashface is supposed to be fun. We think it’s a bloody riot. And from our P.O.V. the point is to get all kinds of traffic in the over-extended UGC/social networking scene and drive that traffic to Xtranormal’s flagship site, www.xtranormal.com.

There’s some cool stuff over there. You can make movies (so it’s kinda like Mashface), but you make movies with 3D actors and sets of your choice. It’s super-easy, too. Now, there are all kind of companies out there yamming it up about how easy their software is. But unlike those other companies we’re not lying. It is easy. Like way easier than MashFace.

Through January 4 Dreamhost has a really good promo. When and if you sign up just ignore the promo code on the main page. Then click signup and click on host a domain name and the two year plan and enter 202 where it asks for promo code.

You will get two years hosting for aproximately $21.48 . That is only about 95 cents a month.

Windows 7, Build 7000, the version to be used in the beta test, leaked onto BitTorrent sites during the Christmas holidays.

Those expecting a complete redo of Windows will probably be disappointed; Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer call it only a fixed version of Vista.

Microsoft for the first time unveiled Windows 7 features at its Los Angeles Professional Developers Conference in October. Microsoft said it isn’t planning to officially release beta copies of Windows 7 until its MSDN developers’ conference in January. A final version of the OS isn’t expected until late 2009 or early 2010.
